BrightMap is a directory of companies built like a social network. It is designed to help you find and evaluate professional service providers (lawyers, accountants, web development agencies, PR firms, recruiters, office space providers, etc) based on their client references.

BrightMap is a social network of companies rather than of people. On Facebook and LinkedIn, people have profiles and connect to each other. On BrightMap, companies have profiles and connect to each other. For each connection on BrightMap, one company is the client and the other is the vendor. Each connection is validated by both companies, just like person-to-person connections on LinkedIn and Facebook.

You can browse the companies on BrightMap by Industry, Location, Tags. When viewing a company’s profile you can see and browse its clients and vendors. Soon you’ll be able to search by keyword.
